Dress Ministry
Each year dresses are made to send with a mission team to Honduras. Our ladies and young ladies cut, match, pin and sew hundreds of dresses for the little girls in the poorest regions of that country. The dresses are then packed and shipped to arrive before the team and are then distributed.
During the year, dress workshops are held at OGUMC. The ladies gather the material and tshirts that have been donated or purchased and begin the process of sewing the dresses. Many of the dresses are completed at the workshops, and many of the ladies take the materials home and sew at home.
If you are interested in the Honduras Dress Project, please contact OGUMC at office@ogumc.com.
